Bantam Lake

Bantam Lake is the largest natural lake in Connecticut, located in Litchfield County. It covers an area of 947 acres and has a maximum depth of 35 feet. The lake is a popular destination for boating, fishing, swimming, and other recreational activities. It is surrounded by several parks and public beaches, including White Memorial Conservation Center, Morris Town Beach, and Connecticut State Park. Bantam Lake also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as the Bantam Lake Ski Club Water Ski Show and the Litchfield Jazz Festival.
